Lynne's "PS. I Love You" Fold over album with double spines inside.

Using the Mini fold over album kit, with “Nutcracker Sweet” papers from Graphic 45.

Pic 1 - Shows all parts covered with black frame tiger tape, the front, back and fold over I used the 25mm thickness of tape. For the spines I used the 50mm thickness of black frame tiger tape to ensure the grey board was covered.

Pic 2 - Shows the constructed album. I used the 50mm black frame tape to put the album pieces together.

Pic 3 - Shows the spine covers in place as well as card covering the front/back and fold over parts.

Cover the following cover parts with card.

To cover spines 2 @ 47/8” x 4¼” (H x W).

To cover inside front/ back cover 5½” x 7½”.

To cover inside fold over 5½” x 1¾”.

Extended spine format used.

Spines – Cut  2 @ 47/8” x 23/4”.

I then scored at ½” & 1” inch each long side.

Pic 4 - Shows the placement of spines for left and right. It is not necessary to put patterned paper on the spine covers and spines, it’s a quirk of mine.

The left spine placement is 7/16" in from the outside edge of the spine.

The right spine placement is 3/8" in from the inside edge of the spine.

Pocket pages – 47/8”x 67/8” finished size. I cut my card to 53/8” x 67/8” and scored at ½”. Once I had glued the pieces together to form 4 pocket pages, I used black frame tape to cover the joins.

Pic 5 shows - the pocket pages.

There will be more from Lynne next month so you have plenty of time to get creating the first section before the next blog post.
