WELLNESS ALBUM

Time to introduce you you to another Design Team Member. Please say a big hello to Mandy, a lover of all things Album Making! So over to her to take you through her Wellness Album.

When going through the papers and ephemera cards what struck me was the quotations and I realised that everyone I know has had to deal with difficulties of different kinds during or since the lockdown.
I decided to focus on the messages that promoted well being and positivity .

For the front and back cover I used ephemera cards raised up on foam tape to help guide and keep the ribbon in place.

Inside the front cover I custom made a pocket and a folio folder to keep the mementos we keep from our holidays or whatever journey you want to document https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/folio-die-combo
Page 1 I used the clever corners so you can put your favourite photo blown up https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/coolkatz-clever-tools-corner-spacers
Page 2 I played with the film strip die and made slider tabs so you could put some smaller photos to document a journey or sites you have seen https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/fold-over-film-strip-die

Page 4 I did a simple belly band page using the bat belly band die https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/bat-bellyband

Page 5 I used the small photo slot die set for the base page, and the film strip die for the flap https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/fold-over-film-strip-die

Page 6 &7 on the outside flaps I used the photo slot dies and ephemera cards; on the inside I used the straight die out of the wavy lines set, the bat tag to make the pockets, and the straight pierced pocket die https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/cut-in-photo-slot-die-set

Page 10 the belly band bat die to make a horizontal simple belly band page and the large photo slot die set to make a photo mat (see above for link).
Page 11 I was inspired by a good friend album Lisa Maybank but instead of ribbon I used the purrfect finish faux grain strips to make a notice board to stick in all your bits and bobs https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/purrfect-finish-faux-grain-strip-die-set
