Michaela's Mini Album using the Mexican die collection

My mini album using Graphic45 “Bloom where you are planted” a lovely paper collection from graphic 45.

I wanted to create a mini album that would showcase the Mexican Die collection.

I decided to make the album 6”x8”.

The pages have shaped outer edges.

I used the Mexican whiskers to do this.
For page 1 and the inside covers I used the Mexican tags to create pockets and tags.

Page 2 has a pocket.

Page 3 has a waterfall with a magnetic closure.

Pages 4 & 5 have spaces for photos (I used the angled photo slot die set).

Page 6 has a vertical belly band.

Page 7 has a pocket made using a Mexican whisker.

Page 8 has a magnetic closure flap which covers a side pocket made using one of the whiskers.

The truth about page 8 is that it was supposed to be page 2 but I found that as both 2 and 3 had magnets they wanted to stay together so I had to re-assign this one to the end. It messed up the colours I had planned but I had no choice. Lesson learnt though, better planning in future.

*Top Tip* if you’re planning magnets on pages opposite each other, make sure you stagger the magnet placements.
