This week we are being treated to a couple more pages from Design Team
Member Lynne's fabulous Little Things Album. We haven't overlooked page
three it's just Lynne's recomendation is to complete pages four and
five, then move onto to pages three and six. All will become clear as
Lynne explains.
So over to Lynne to tell us more.
Pages 4 & 5 (easier to do these first before pages 3 & 6 which are identical)
The basic page layout was inspired by Scrap&Create.
4 magnets per page, photo slots set 1 , page tabs, glue, 6mm & 9mm protape, album text stamp set.
Large flap - 8 1/4 inches x 7 1/4 inches , score 1/2 inch on 1 long side
Vertical pocket - 9 1/4 inches x 3 1/4 inches , score 1/2 inch on 3 sides
Inside mechanism- 7 1/4:inches x 7 1/8 inches, score 1/2 on 1 long side
Inside flap - 7 1/4 inches x 6 5/8 inches , score 3/4 inch on 1 long side
Pockets on front of large flap, 1 @ 5 inches x 6 11/16 inches , 1 @ 3 1/2 inches x 6 11/16 inches
I attached the large flap and vertical pocket to the base page. Attach page tab to side of flap.
I then decorated the inside of the large flap, front of vertical pocket and base page.
I then attached the 3/4 inch scored part of the inside flap to the opposite side of the mechanism
I then decorated the inside of the mechanism with pp and photo slots set 1.
******** Please do not decorate the outside of the inside flap as it might prevent it going into the pocket with ease*********
I then lined up the 1/2 inch scored mechanism to the fold line of the large flap , held it in place and pressed the large flap down. MAKING SURE 3/4 inch PART IS INSIDE POCKET ( ask me how I know to do that )
To decorate the front of the large flap I cut a sheet of pp to 8 inches x 6 1/2 inches ( height x length), from that I cut from the bottom up 3 1/4 inches - this is for bottom pocket
Top pp - 3 1/8 inches, middle part 1 9/16 inches.
Construction - pp to top part of flap, attach 5 inch pocket flush with side edge & bottom of flap, pp to top of this pocket, attach 3 1/2 inch pocket flush with edge & bottom of flap, pp onto this pocket.
I then made 2 tags @ 7 1/4 inches x 4 inches & 5 1/4 inches x 4 inches.
I used 6 @ 8x8 pp for each page layout.
Big thanks to Lynne for such wonderful work and look out for more tips,
tricks and inspiration at the links below!
