IDEAS FOR DECORATING A TABLE FOR TWO

This week we are sharing lots of close up photos to help inspire you get your creative juices flowing for designing your table-for-two-breakfast-nook Intrigues®. Don't worry we will also be sharing full photos too, but you will have to wait a little longer for those.

Design Team member Elizabeth had great fun decorating her Table For Two Nook Cake Cafe, so with a name like that how could we not resist peeping through those windows!

The outer walls are decorated with the CoolKatz 8"x8" Stonewall Stencil and lashings of texture paste. This was also spread on using a spatular for added texture, and of course you all know Elizabeth loves to create in a shabby style.  It was then given a coat of white Gesso, and once dry a dry brushing of pale blue acrylic paint. To add age to the building a little medium grey diluted  acrylic paint was added to the corner of the building to age it and make it look a little weather beaten. And look at that little tuft of grass growing up the wall.

There are plants and flowers ontop of the Bay Window, this not only is a design feature but also helps to disguise the top of the light fixture a little.

And just look at all those goodies in the cafe window, almost too good to eat!!

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow to take a closer look at the inside, hopefully there may be a few little surprises in there too!

Happy Crafting
