We showed you two of Yvonne's pictures of her New 8" X 8" Album on Facebook but here they are along with some more. I have listed the dies which have been used so that you can identify them. These are available separately in the shop at www.coolkatzcraft.com/shop
Should you have any questions please write them below and we will come back to you with an answer.
Yvonne has used the Graphic 45 Times Nouveau papers, including Wallflower, Hey You and the ladies from Glad Rags.
You can see the Ivory Architape close up here on all of the edges. This is included in the kit for this album.
Here Yvonne has used the Mexican die to edge the flaps which open and the flap on the left handside. The Stitched Page Tabs have been used to make the tab to open up the page on the right. The card insert on the left has the border from the Mandarin Whisker set.
These lovely pages in such divine colours use the Hexagon Stitched Page Tabs on the flaps and the Mandarin Whisker...
Michaela, one of our design team - My very favourite page is the first one; I’ve been in a hot air balloon and I’d love to either cross the Alps or the Sahara in one. Crazy!
I used a paper pad I had in my stash, called BOHEME, by Grace Tay. I called the album Wanderlust and the papers have an oriental style design. They just made me want to take off and travel...
I used all the CoolKatz dies throughout the album, also using bookbinding glue, Stix2 3D glue, glossy accents and Nuvo drops. I fussycut the hot air balloon, the butterfly on the cover and some flowers taken from the papers I used.
The cat's out of the bag! A less than sneaky peek of what is new on our Hochanda shows this Thursday (12 and 4pm)!
They will also be on our website on Thursday https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/shop
Both of us are very excited! xx
Hi CoolKatz, I hope that you are enjoying your Easter holidays! I am working on my album for Maggie and Kay because they have a show on Thursday on Hochanda and want to be able to show some finished projects.
My husband just came into my craft room, he said 'How can you get anything done with all this mess?' Mess - that is the way that I craft!
I am hoping that you might be able to see more peaks of the dies but I must wait for Maggie and Kays' say so, so here is another sneak peak of what I am doing at the moment...
This is so exciting! Maggie and Kay have given us a new kit and their new set of dies to make up so that you can see the different ways in which they can all be used. I am sorry not to much to be seen at the moment, but there may be more nearer its completion.
Also here is a Halloween roll-top box which was made by Anita in the design team for children with sweets and spiders and things that go bump in the night! Anita used Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland papers to make a spooky album and look at the inside of her box - ughhh I hate spiders!
For some of the new CoolKatz I wanted to show some of the roll-top boxes that have been made by the Design Team, Kay and Maggie. Above you can see mine created for a gardener and designed to be used every year like a calendar. The box can be used to store seeds in.
The one below is Michaela's box with a metal clasp and more vintage feel.
If you go to the shop you can see both this version and one with a drawer instead of an album.
I know that CoolKatzCraft has not been going long but we are growing all the time and so I am going to put on here a few of the Wizzes, Roll-Top Boxes and Albums so that the new subscribers can get some ideas on how to decorate them.
Clare has spray painted her Standard Wizz, has made the hole in the top for putting pens, rulers, Glossy Accents etc into.
Anita (shown above) has decorated her Standard Wizz with mdf letters and stencils.
The Buzz Wizz has been made without a hole in the top - ooops, that will treat me to let my husband in on the construction! This was spray painted with wallpaper on the top and a bee stamped onto heat resistant acrylic
Rosemary has painted her Mini Wizz with spray paint and highlighted it with gold gilding wax, and added some dachshunds at the bottom.
