Here is another one of the boxes that was made by Rosemary in our design team. She decided to use a stamp set that she had already - Stampendous Frog Yoga - and has made it really bright and powerful. So if you can part with your finished box and are going to give it to someone who has a certain favourite flower, pet or an interest in cars or trains then if you have some stamps that would be an economical way to decorate it.
There are three 'secret' compartments in the Hidden Gem Box, one in the lid and two either side of the inside of the drawer. Its measurements are L 24.5cm, W 18.9cm, H 16.7cm and weight: 700g
If you would like more information on this or the four Wizzes that we showed on Hochanda last Saturday then please visit the shop on the website https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/shop
Some time ago I showed Michaela's Standard Inky Wizz painted. Here is a picture of it finished with the Wizz-Gigg attached. As you can see from the picture it gives you the option of putting bottles, embossing powders, glues and whatever you choose on the top of your Wizz. The Wizz-Gigg is available separately at £5.99 and the Standard Inky Wizz is now £49.99. If you go to the shop at https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/shop you can see all of the Wizz sizes including the Super Inky Wizz which will hold both your 'old' and 'new' Stampin' Up Ink Pads and some of the larger brands aswell as combinations of the smaller makes.
Today Kay and Maggie had their first show for CoolKatzCraft on Hochanda and it was fab-u-lous!!! Well done ladies!
I wanted to show you some pictures of the NEW Hidden Gem Box just incase you couldn't get to watch it although we hope it will have been recorded and you can go and see the show on Hochanda's 'Rewind' feature.
Here is a Hidden Gem Box made by Maggie and featured on the show. She has used the Kaisercraft Bloom Collection to cover it with. It has three 'secret' places where you can store those things that you want to keep 'underwraps!'
If you want to see what the kit contains you can visit our shop where it has been put on with some more examples. https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/product-page/hidden-gem-box
Just incase you are not a Facebooker and do not get the Hochanda emails I thought that I'd let you know that this show will be the first for CoolKatzCraft on TV. Kay and Maggie are feeling really excited and a 'bit sick!' Kay and Maggie will be showing the NEW Hidden Gem Box and the NEW Inky Wizzes. If you are going to watch and have any questions please email them in and you can get a mention too! Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you will be busy the Hidden Gem Box is now in the shop priced at £34.99. This includes all of the pieces for you to assemble your Hidden Gem Box, full instructions and all you will need is some glue and some lovely papers to cover it in. https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/product-page/hidden-gem-box
The Inky Wizz is in the shop in four sizes including the Super Wizz which can hold both the new and old size Stampin' Up ink pads https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/shop https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/product-page/storage-wi...
I completed decorating my Wizz, tidying up to take photos and spilt a whole load of black gesso all over the Wizz and me and the table. Air was somewhat blue! Husband helped to take Wizz apart and clean it so that it would actually wizz. Restart decorating, painted in black gesso to cover up black gesso. Mixed up some blue metallic paint . Ask husband to take Wizz outside, he picked up spray and started shaking it like a cocktail only to find no lid - kitchen units covered, floor, his clothes, beard. Unfortunately couldn’t find phone for photos. Stopped laughing cleaned up, sprayed unit, put stencil of clock on the top, too late - stencil round the wrong way so we have time going backwards. Stuck my letters on only to find mine doesn’t say Inky Wizz, it's round the wrong way. It has to stay. Love the unit! I have limited mobility so it is a fantastic design for me so has pride of place on my craft table
In Maggie's last show on Hochanda she showed the new Back to Back Album. Here are some close-up pictures for you to see this new concept. The Album has two separate books made up in a 'Back to Back' stylee.
The Album would be suitable for giving to someone who has had twins, someone who has been on an exchange, someone who is building a house, a traveller who has been on a two centre holiday - or someone who has a long story to tell? You could add photos and memorabilia or just give it blank so that they can do it themselves.
I love the flowers on the end of the ribbons, they really finish it off perfectly.
Showing you the additional Wizz-Gig on Michaela's Wizz which enables you to store other bottles and re-inkers on the top without them falling off, suitable for the Standard and Large Wizzes. This is available in the shop, flat packed at £5.99 https://www.coolkatzcraft.com/product-page/storage-with-a-twist-wizz-gig
Aswell as the YouTube video to show you the construction of the Inky Wizz there is also one for the Add-ons. These can be purchased in the shop for £2.00. If you would like to visit YouTube it here in the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXB0MqY3P00
In the Large Wizz with the Add-ons you can store other bigger inks, bottles of Glossy Accents, small archival inks, enamel accents, butchers twine, the eggs used for distressing in your projects but I am sure that you will find a whole lot more things in your craft rooms.
Aswell as the full triangles there are also packs available which contain the other types of Add-ons - small semi circle, medium and large hole for different tools. You can select these when you are purchasing
I know that if you get Facebook you may have seen this already but if not I wanted to show you Clare's fantabulous Inky Wizz. Also there is a picture to show anyone who is thinking of getting some storage how it looks in an IKEA Kallax unit. This is the standard size. Clare is using it to store the original distress inks, the mini sized cubes and her blending tools. There is now a YouTube video which takes you through the simple construction step-by-step https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1ju27uybFc
