...there are a lot of opportunities where you can cut into the papers or cut around the pictures to make flaps for putting in photos, journaling or photo cards made up from the papers.
Here you can see the coordinating papers used to create the two pockets in which you can put the ephemera supplied in the Graphic45 books, your journaling, attach photos, put in wedding lists, packing lists, tickets or an invitation for a certain event - the world is your oyster as they say!
This is an example of two portrait pockets with openings at the top. As you can see everything is first put onto black card 'to make it pop!' and therefore create the finished look.

This example made up by Yvonne in our Design Team is gorgeous I hope you will agree! It is made up in Fab Scraps papers and is the first box and book project that Yvonne had attempted - looking forward to the next one Yvonne! You can see the YouTube video of the whole of the inside here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3MLxxtQTW4 I love the way that you have put the flower pots throughout the book!
I love the mauve but you could do it to match your theme for your Christmas decorations or for a present for the person who has everything! I am sure that they would appeciate it more if you had made it for them!
We will also be featuring cardmaking/scrapbooking stamps and here is an example which will be available in the coming weeks..
‘Blue’s Look Out’ by Kay
A Simple card using the Decoupage paper Blue Brushed Wood with the ‘Blue’s Look Out’ cling stamp and white gesso from IndigoBlu, both available from our store soon.
Some of the decoupage paper was glued to 12x17cm kraft card and given a light wash of gesso. When dry, the image was stamped with black ink - I used a stamping platform, and heat embossed with clear powder.
The eyes and flowers were coloured with Copics and a little background detail was added with Black Soot Distress ink through a stencil.
This panel was then adhered to a 12.5x17.5cm kraft card blank. A kraft card die cut sentiment was added to finish the project.
Please visit our shop and you can see the Roll-top Box both with a drawer and with the book that I have been featuring. There is also a Mini Album, a Foldover Album and an 8" X 8" Album kit aswell as card, tape and magnets all suitable for making up our kits.
What a lovely shabby chic project this is! This box was made by June, a member of the Design Team who hadn't made one before! There you go - you can give it a go too!
The flaps and pages are fab and she has brought some new ways of doing the flaps and hidey holes. If you would like to see more of this there is a run through on the YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bP2KfRlSzSA
